Personal website for a modern jazz pianist who writes and plays a selection of standards and orginals in bebop style with his trio/quartet/quintet.

I created this personal website for John Donegan, John carried out his Classical training at School of Music in Cork, where he come from. His father (Dick Donegan) was a strong influence, in his teens, in that he introduced John to the Blues and American Music, which he sang and played (guitar). John started playing blues and from there developed an interest in Jazz, initially Trad Jazz and then progressed to Modern Jazz having listened to the like of Bud Powell, Tatum, Oscar Peterson and the MJQ.
